Why Massage Therapy?

How does Massage Therapy Help?

With Massage Therapy you can experience some relief from muscle tension. pain as well increased range of motion. Treatments are tailored to each client’s needs.

How often do I need treatment?

It depends on your goals. Typically, I would recommend a maintenance massage once every 4 weeks. It is important to keep in mind that the benefits of massages therapy are cumulative, if you wait too long in between your massages, you will be starting back at square one. Together we can plan a treatment schedule that will work for you.

What is a knot?

The technical term for a muscle knot is a trigger point. A build up of protein after the release of lactic acid. Muscles that form knots are muscles that have gone into spasm due to injury, overuse or sedentary lifestyle where the muscle has remained “stuck” in that tense state.
